Darc 40 MK II

Similar to its sister, the RC 3 from the Berlina series, the DARC 40 is a classic two-way design with a closed cabinet. However, it also has 2nd order high-pass filtering and therefore also plays deep and clean in the bass range, with much more pressure than you would expect due to its small volume.

Darc 60 MK II

The smallest floorstanding speaker in the DARC range. Big sound, big imaging, stunningly spacious and natural. Incredibly pure and precise! The DARC 60 works according to the 2½-way principle: both Gauder Akustik DARC loudspeaker driverss work together in the bass, from 120 Hz the lower one drops out steeply and only the upper one takes over the mid-range reproduction. From 3400 Hz, the beryllium or optional diamond tweeter then takes over. The 2½-way system is therefore very economical and combines the advantages of 2-way and 3-way speakers in an impressive way.

While the lower bass speaker works on a low-tuned, high-pass-filtered bass reflex system, the upper bass sits in a closed cabinet so that the cabinet resonances are not coupled out via a bass reflex tube and distort the midrange. Darc 80 MK II

Experience the incredible performance of this speaker. Deep and powerful, yet fast in the bass, it fully exploits the advantages of aluminum as an enclosure material. Like the DARC 60, the DARC 80 also works according to the very economical 2½-way principle with a reflex and a closed enclosure. A special feature of the DARC 80 is the extremely sophisticated crossover, which has been calculated and tuned according to the latest findings. With a slope of over 60 dB/octave, the loudspeaker chassis extend and retract and thus only work in their perfect frequency range. This means that the beryllium loudspeakers can be operated perfectly and without distortion! A new world in loudspeaker construction!

The DARC 80 impresses with an incredibly airy and dynamic music reproduction that has never been seen before. The DARC 80 plays twice as big as it is!

Darc 100 MK II

The ultimate DARC loudspeaker! Incredible dynamics, fine detail and spatiality paired with an unbelievable sovereignty for its size. The DARC 100 is a genuine 3-way system with double bass system in a high-pass filtered bass reflex cabinet. The XPulse midrange driver has a very lightweight cone that is driven by a super-strong magnet. Together with the beryllium or diamond tweeters, the DARC 100 really gets every bit of information out of your recordings and places it into the room. Three-dimensional and true to detail. You'll forget about the DARC 100 after the first few bars and concentrate solely on the music. Absolutely unique!

Darc 200 MK II

The advantages of aluminum as an enclosure material over MDF or wood become even more significant with large loudspeakers. Sound insulation, especially in the extreme low bass range, has an even more dramatic effect than with our smaller models. The avoidance of cabinet excitation caused by the vibration of the speaker cones plays an even more significant role. Listen to music completely unadulterated and more dynamically than was previously possible.

The DARC 200 reveals all the subtleties of a complex composition, shows all shades of timbre even more clearly and “shoots” impulses out of nowhere. Experience such a revelation of music during a listening test.

Technically speaking, the DARC 200 is a three-way design with a high-pass filtered bass reflex system and a balanced 60dB/octave steep crossover using only the highest quality components. You can choose between beryllium and diamond tweeters. And as always with us, the diamond can also be replaced later at your home, so that you can also opt for the beryllium tweeter at the time of purchase.

Darc 250 MK II

Our top model in the DARC series impresses with its extremely elaborate four-way double bass design and the use of the 50 mm diamond midrange speaker chassis. This midrange driver in particular resolves the finest musical details, brings out the airiness of the recording and sounds unobtrusively light and pleasant. This makes the acoustic illusion even more immersive, even more real, even more precise.

The DARC 250 also uses a balanced crossover with a 60 dB/octave slope, which is distributed over four separate circuit boards to avoid magnetic coupling. Naturally, the DARC 250 also only uses components from Mundorf and Intertechnik, which we have found to sound “perfect” in careful listening sessions over the last few years.

In addition we have added the latest new product available: a new 90-mm-wide diamond midrange driver! This enables us to switch to diamond diaphragms starting from 600 Hz up to 80.000 Hz. So this is something totally new in HiFi. Mids and highs in a purity like you have never heard before. HiFi was never that good!
